Spinning Box Giveaway!

You knew it was coming didn’t you? Mary from The Spinning Box has a box waiting for one lucky KnittyBlog reader. To make you even more excited about the possibility of winning a box let me show you better photos of the fibers inside mine.

I took these photos this past weekend on a crafty girls weekend away and I had to bat away the grabby hands of my friends. These fibers are so nice and the colors are succulent. The theme of my box was stars and space, the box you might win is going to be a surprise.

I guessed that what you really wanted to see was the fiber more than any company’s label, so some of the labels are hard to read or even not there. I am listing names, links and fiber content below the collage. The fiber total was 12 oz, if you remember last photos last week there was also candy, buttons and soap from SLAB, which is already in my shower.

All of the fiber in my Spinning Box.

The fibers in the box are:

Top (L to R): Camaj Fiber Arts/Merino, bamboo/ Space Sunrise; The Wooly Lion/Merino,Alpaca,Mohair (all local) and firestar/ Galaxy; MK Unique Designs/Merino, nylon,thread/Cosmos

Middle (L to R): Totally Inked Yarn/SW Merino/Andromeda; The Spinning Box & Tucker Nuck Farm/ Merino; Alpaca Serenades/Alpaca, wool, angelina/Annie’s Comet

Bottom (L to R):  Camaj Fiber Arts/Corriedale/Mother of Moons; Rock and String Creations/ 100% Merino/ Cosmos; Fawkes Farms/Alpaca, BFL, silk, angelina/ Galaxy Far, Far Away

I’d love it if Knitty had patterns for combining yarn made from batts and sample boxes… these are gorgeous and I’d love to try them, but I always spin for a project, and I never quite know what to do with less than 4oz at a time.

Couldn’t resist a Spinning Box giveaway, through my favorite item from a box is Zuzu Beans lanolin lip balm. It’s acai berry and amazing! The boxes are always a treat to open too!

What an amazing box of fibers and generous giveaway! I am just learning to spin and getting used to my wheel, so I am trying out a lot of fibers to learn different hands. A box like this would give me lots to work with!

Yes, please! I want to spin all the things! Always on the lookout for pretty new fibers to play with.

Oh wow! I am a relatively new support spindle convert but would love to go on an adventure with these beautiful fibres 🙂

I would *love* to have the opportunity to get a Spinning Box! As I looked at the assortment of fibers you’ve received in your box, I’ve felt that it’d be a wonderful way for me to experiment and be more playful with my spinning, and that would be a very good thing. 🙂
Thank you for introducing us to the Spinning Box, and for giving us a chance at winning one.

Holy cow, that’s a box of goodies! Would love to receive this – it would be good incentive to finally learn how to spin.

Beautiful fiber can’t wait to do some summer spinning, I’m a beginner so the will take me time to do.

What a fantastic introduction to a whole range of fibre artists. The only danger is that I’d want to roll in all that gorgeous fibre and then it would all get messed out of alignment! 🙂

    * I promise no actual harm would actually befall any fibre I received. So far I have never once rolled in my stash, however much I’ve wanted to.

Gorgeous! I’m a relatively new spindler (2 years) and love trying new fibers. Great practice and incentive to practice!

Yes please- I’d love a really exciting reason to set up my wheel. Poor things been living in a box since I moved. Gorgeous stuff!

Oh wow, those are *stunning*. My only regret is not having bought the stars and space themed one, but I can’t imagine the others would be any less fantastic.
